Penang return to Super League next season. Penang will be making their return to
top-flight football next year after winning on the last day of the 2015
Malaysian Premier League season.
The Panthers beat UiTM FC 2-0 at the
Hang Jebat Stadium in Malacca to finish second and overtake T-Team, who
surprisingly lost 2-1 to Kuantan, in the league standings.
Penang FA will be their first appearance in the Malaysian Super League since
they were relegated to the second division in 2012 and 2010
respectively.
With their final league positions, Penang also secured
their spots in Pot Three of the upcoming 2015 Malaysia Cup.
